Kinum is an authorized and recommended athenahealth collection agency. (Athena/Kinum Marketplace)
All collection efforts are from within the United States.
Select and transfer accounts directly to Kinum from AthenaNet (no cost). Set up process takes 15 minutes.
Practice maintains complete control over which accounts get transferred to Kinum.
“Connect” service is a fixed flat fee of $9.75 per account regardless of balance amount – practice keeps 100% of all money collected.
“Collect” service is contingency fee based – 35% on what’s collected, optional service if account doesn’t pay in Connect.
Collection success rate 3-5 times higher than all other agencies.
HIPAA, TCPA, and FDCPA compliant.
National collection coverage.
No set up fees, no minimum # of accounts, no minimum balance amount, open ended “Pay As Used” customer agreement.

Settle in Full Authority:
Kinum always attempts to recover 100% of the amount owed from the debtor. However, sometimes a debtor agrees to pay a lower amount during Collection Calls (Step 3) to settle the case. We recommend 80%. You authorize Kinum to settle any accounts at or above the Settle in Full Authority percentage rate below.

Transfer Preference:
All accounts which remain unpaid after Collection Letters (Step 2) service can be automatically transferred to the next step, Collection Calls Service (Step 3), after waiting for 15 days. We recommend "Yes", but its your choice.
